Mercedes-Benz Leaf Concept

Mercedes-Benz Leaf Concept

The Leaf Concept is a car sculpture made for the Hommage à Mercedes Benz project. The sculptures had to reflect to the traditions and heritage of Mercedes-Benz and enhance the role of art in automotive design.

The one year long project started off with conceptualization and sketching, searching for the DNA of Mercedes’ form language. Proportions and surfacing were finalized on a 1:4 scale clay model.

The project was exhibited at the Hungarian Museum of Applied Arts on the Mercedes-Benz – The Art of Creation exhibition in 2010, and in the Palace of Arts, Budapest on the Mercedes-Benz – 10 Years Future in 2013.

The project was supported by Mercedes-Benz Design and the Transportation Design Department of Moholy-Nagy University of Art And Design, Budapest.
