Frend is a foldable wheelbarrow for urban and small-scale gardeners with a clever, space-saving design.

With the stress of modern life, many urban dwellers began turning to gardening as a mindful and relaxing activity. However, cities rarely offer possibilities to start a full garden plot. Having the proper tools and machinery also comes as a challenge in a high- density area. Urban gardeners need smart, space-saving, yet functional and durable solutions. So, Frend was created, a flat-foldable wheelbarrow for urban and small-scale gardeners.


With its timeless, playful aesthetic, Frend is a handy tool for those with green thumbs but limited space. It is easy to fold, assemble, repair and store. By unhooking the fasteners on the edges, the Frend wheelbarrow can be flat-folded. When closed, the sides are secured by powerful magnets. For even more space-saving, the wheel is easily removable. The folding side panels are connected by sturdy continuous hinges and strong fastening sticks. Every dimension and angle is defined to reach maximum function within the most compact flat-fold size. This ultra- light aluminium wheelbarrow will fit on a roof rack or in the back of a car without taking up too much valuable space in the garage.


Frend is completely built with high- quality industrial elements. Most of them are standard parts and can be found in any hardware store, which makes occasional repairs easy.
